A weekend in Ahmedabad

What a weekend it was, in my latest trip outside campus ,straight to Ahmedabad.Its been ages that I have gone out,perhaps a month other than going to the capital of Gujarat.
Well ,so here are some important things that happened in the journey :-
  1. Saw some Indian cricketers from a distance of 10 metres in the aeroplane.They were going to Delhi after winning the Kanpur test.Didn't went to them for any photo clicks or autograph.My friend did all that.Seems I am no more a fanatic, I was 10 years back.I lost the interest after India's loss to England in Super Six in 1999.There is very little emotion that I have with cricket ,now that I watch it.
  2. Received on Airport like C*O's and taken to WIMWI in car.Now that was experience.But the infra took me for a shock.L has better hostel and college infra ,now that I reflect over it.
  3. Presented something in Global Challenge.Had tweeted sometime back for a need of contest like this and this was the ocassion.But we lost due to lack of enough global content to the theme. :(
  4. So we had a sumptuous lunch and then went to Sabarmati Ashram.Its a peaceful place and must see on Ahmedabad visit.The pic I liked the best was Change of Thoughts with age.Another important event there was seeing more than 10 squirrels together near the Sabarmati river.It was a great experience.
  5. Went to meet Kaka ,Kaki and Gaurav.Was great meeting them after 8 years.Watched an important family video of their marriage.Was 7 at that time. Unbelievable!!
  6. The remaining part of the journey was event less with Deb doing his round of pics and his first foot-landing on Delhi.Life mein sabko Delhi aana padta hai :)
  7. Missed INDEX 09, the event of a life time as they say.Hope our team wins this one.

But the entire experience was worth it.

What I mean here is the general college Infra.They certainly have some IT infra which is quite complex to get into.But all that is fine with the name that A has.

Globe--Thanks to the Recreation Centre in Shaktinagar, we got a globe at home. On a more truthful note

The post I did yesterday was more what others have seen in my attempts. Now ,my take on the beast :- Shot 1 -- Well prepared.Getting consistently good percentiles in VA with a DI havoc now and then in CL Mocks.Did not learn that out and succumbed to QA pressure as well on the D-Day. Result - 92 percentile Shot 2 -- Frustrated by Time AIMCATs.Thought , I am good for nothing.Started getting low scores in the last mocks as well as few practice tests. End result -- 85 percentile Shot 3-- Good learning at IMS.Was doing everything correct except of doing it on the right day.Screwed VA completely along with a bit in DI. End result - 95 percentile Shot 4 -- Started the season badly with a debacle in AIMCAT joining test.Thought the cycle needs to be revisited.Joined CL again.No dangerously good results.Just OK kind.Didn't fired full throttle in the Mocks.But the day it mattered, it happened. End result - 99.54 percentile and 3 calls L,I,K 2 calls A and C were not there due to 92 percentile ...
