Longest Holiday in 10 years

This is perhaps the longest holiday that I am enjoying in the past 10 years of academic and professional life and perhaps one of the last until,I retire,not work for more than 3 months etc.So what am I doing in these holidays.
Well nothing too great to enjoy.I am just trying to reinvent a bit of myself and enjoy the most of it.
Things I have done :-
  1. Written few research papers
  2. Done something to revive KNIT Alumni association,although it has a long way to go
  3. Learning Car driving
  4. Watched a bit of IPL
  5. Sleeping approx. 10-12 hours in a day
  6. Going to Sultanpur and Lucknow
  7. Walking,Morning jog and sitting by the Saruyu river
  8. Net surfing
  9. Chatting with lost contacts
Things I plan to do in the remaining holiday period:-
  1. Nagpur visit
  2. The 4 dham yatra
  3. Watch T20 World Cup
  4. Attend marriage of Alok and Rajeev rai
  5. Complete car driving lessons :)
  6. Chalk something in TO DO list for future (Right now it varies from research,consulting,entrepreneurship to learning to swim)

Atlas and Globe ..

These were two important locii of anyone's geographical knowledge before the advent of Wikimapia and Google Maps on the net. Globe--Thanks to the Recreation Centre in Shaktinagar, we got a globe at home. I was in class 2 and the impression of that object still remains for long in my cerebral hemisphere.I saw the place where I was born(Nagpur) and the nearest place to our then current location (Varanasi).They seemed to be so close to each other on the globe.Travelling time via train is 24hrs between the 2 places. On a more truthful note

The post I did yesterday was more what others have seen in my attempts. Now ,my take on the beast :- Shot 1 -- Well prepared.Getting consistently good percentiles in VA with a DI havoc now and then in CL Mocks.Did not learn that out and succumbed to QA pressure as well on the D-Day. Result - 92 percentile Shot 2 -- Frustrated by Time AIMCATs.Thought , I am good for nothing.Started getting low scores in the last mocks as well as few practice tests. End result -- 85 percentile Shot 3-- Good learning at IMS.Was doing everything correct except of doing it on the right day.Screwed VA completely along with a bit in DI. End result - 95 percentile Shot 4 -- Started the season badly with a debacle in AIMCAT joining test.Thought the cycle needs to be revisited.Joined CL again.No dangerously good results.Just OK kind.Didn't fired full throttle in the Mocks.But the day it mattered, it happened. End result - 99.54 percentile and 3 calls L,I,K 2 calls A and C were not there due to 92 percentile ...
